March 28, Kathmandu : Nepal lost to hosts Bangladesh by 83 runs in the match held today under the ACC Emerging Teams Cricket tournament. After being put into bat in the match held at the Sheikh Kamal stadium of Cox's bazaar, Bangladesh scored 257 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. In reply, Nepal was all out in 42.3 overs with just 174 runs on the board. With the loss, the second straight one, Nepal has been out of the qualifying phase of the tournament. March 27, Kathmandu, : Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called on Chinese President Xi Jinping and both held discussions on exchanging support and strengthening bilateral ties. One killed, two injured after bus rams bike

March 27 , Chitwan : A person was killed and two injured after being struck by a bus near Baba Gas at Khaireni in eastern Chitwan last night. The bus (Ba 5 Kha 8961) heading west rammed a bike (Ba 75 Pa 945) coming from the opposite direction at midnight. Among the three riding the bike, one died in course of treatment at the Chitwan Medical College, said District Police Office, Chitwan. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. March 23, Kathmandu : Chinese Defence Minister and State Councilor General Chang Wanquan arrived here today on a three-day official visit. The villagers in Amarbasti have been coughing up fares when crossing the Mohana river that splits Kanchanpur and Kailali districts.
