August 13, Surkhet : At least three persons were reported dead after a monsoon – triggered landslide swept away a house here in Surkhet. Three members of a single family were killed after the landslide buried the house at Sindurkhola village of Badakholi area in Gurbhakot municipality – 6 in eastern part of the district headquarters of Birendranagar. The deceased have been identified as Gumansing Budha, 83, grandsons Bikram Budha, 14, and Saran Budha, 12, of Gurbhakot – 6. July 29, Itahari : A passenger died and five others sustained injuries when a passenger bus heading to Itahari from Dharan met an accident at Halgadha in Itahari, Sunsari district on Saturday noon.
