July 21, Rajbiraj : Two persons died in two separate accidents in Saptari district on Friday. A man succumbed to electric shock while a minor drowned to death. July 20, Kathmandu : Nepal went down to Afghanistan conceding a 141-run defeat in the match played today under the ICC Asia U-19 World Cup qualifier underway in Singapore. July 13, Kathmandu :The meeting of the Council of Ministers today has appointed Rajendra Kishor Chhetri as the chief secretary. The meeting held at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singh Durbar appointed him on the basis of seniority. Chhetri was the secretary at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation before his appointment to the post of the chief secretary. July 13, Melamchi : The District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk has arrested a man convicted on dacoity charge and presented him before the District Court today. The convict is Ram Shrestha, 34, of Sangachowkgadi Municipality-7. He was pronounced guilty in the case of dacoity by the court on 15th July, 2004 and was on the run since then.
